2. Service Description

This website provides an online booking platform for taxi services across Melbourne and regional Victoria. The website is used solely for booking enquiries. No payments are processed through this site. Payment for taxi fares is arranged directly with your driver at the time of travel.

3. Bookings

By submitting a booking through this website, you are requesting a taxi service. All bookings are subject to vehicle and driver availability. We will confirm your booking via email and/or SMS using the contact details you provide.

You may cancel a booking at any time at no charge. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking if we are unable to fulfil the request.

4. Your Responsibilities

You must provide accurate contact details and pickup and drop-off addresses when making a booking. You may book on behalf of another person, however you are responsible for ensuring the information provided is correct and that the passenger is aware of the booking.

5. No Payments on This Website

This website does not collect or process any payment information. All fares are settled directly with the driver. We do not charge booking fees or service fees through this platform.

6. Limitation of Liability

This website is a booking platform only. To the maximum extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, we do not guarantee vehicle availability, exact pickup times, or specific vehicle types. Our liability in connection with the use of this website is limited to re-supplying the booking service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of MelbTaxi and is protected under Australian intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use any content without our written permission.
